A retirement reception for Duane Mangold, professor of agricultural and biosystems engineering, will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, April 23, at Reiman Gardens. A short program will begin at 4 p.m. Mangold joined the ISU faculty in 1959. Letters for a memory book should be sent by April 16 to Dee VanDePol, 208 Davidson.
Ramona Rouse, administrative receptionist for the Iowa State Center, is retiring at the end of April, after 16 years of service. Members of the ISU community are invited to send a card or stop in.
A retirement reception for Walter Morris, German professor in the department of foreign languages and literatures, will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, in the Memorial Union Campanile Room. Morris has been with Iowa State since 1970.
A retirement reception for Paul Hinz, statistics professor, will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, April 29, in 101 Snedecor. Hinz has been a faculty member since 1968.
A retirement reception for Herman Kennedy, repair specialist with the ISU heating plant, will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 29, in the FPM conference room, General Services Building. Kennedy has worked in the heating plant for 29 years.
Guy DeShong, plant manager of the ISU heating plant, is retiring April 30 after 37 years of service.
A retirement reception for Sally Williams, professor of family and consumer sciences education and studies, will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, in the LeBaron lounge. She has been with the university for 20 years. Greetings for a booklet should be sent by April 26 to Jolene Johnson, 219 MacKay.
