A retirement open house for Steve Wells, electronics technician in the College of Engineering, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, April 15, in 1102 Coover. Wells has worked in the former ERI and the electrical and computer engineering department for 32 years, and been employed in the college since 1963. He retired March 31.
A retirement reception for Carolyn Kundel, associate professor in the department of textiles and clothing, will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, April 30, in 1009 LeBaron. Kundel will retire May 15 after 31 years with the university. A collection of greetings is being compiled; send your remarks by April 23 to Shirley Bauge, 1052 LeBaron, for inclusion.
A retirement reception for Judy Larson, systems analyst I at the ADP Center, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, April 30, in the Memorial Union South Ballroom. A short program will begin at 2:30 p.m. Larson is retiring after more than 45 years with the ADP Center.
A retirement reception for William James, associate professor of aerospace engineering and engineering mechanics, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, April 23, in 310 Town Engineering. James joined the Iowa State faculty in September 1961.
A retirement reception for Donald Young, professor of aerospace engineering and engineering mechanics, will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, April 27, in the Memorial Union Campanile Room. Young has been an Iowa State faculty member since October 1952.
