Janie Barnett

A farewell reception for Janie Barnett, assistant director of the student financial aid office, will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, in the Memorial Union Sun Room. A program will be held from 3:30 to 4 p.m. Barnett has worked at Iowa State for 18 years.

Jauvanta Walker

A retirement reception for Juavanta Walker will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, in 101 Snedecor. Walker has been a communications specialist in the statistics department since 1981. She also worked in the Statisical Laboratory from 1948 to 1962.
