Fall convocation is Sept. 3

President Martin Jischke will set the direction for this academic year during the 1998 all-university fall convocation Thursday, Sept. 3. The convocation begins at 3:15 p.m. in the Memorial Union Sun Room.

At the convocation, Jischke will discuss some of the priorities and challenges for the 1998-99 academic year.

"We're coming off another very successful year," Jischke said, "and it's important that we continue to move forward."

Sophomore pianist Rachael Larson will play preceding and following Jischke's address. Refreshments will be served following his talk. All members of the university community are invited.
