Spanish classes offered this fall for faculty, staff
The department of foreign languages and literatures, in cooperation with the colleges of Agriculture, Engineering and Veterinary Medicine, is sponsoring eight-week, non-credit courses in beginning and intermediate Spanish during fall and spring semesters for faculty and staff. The classes are designed for employees participating in international travel or research.
Classes begin Tuesday, Sept. 15, and will meet Tuesday and Thursday afternoons on campus from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Classes will focus on practical communications skills. The cost is $50 plus materials.
To register, send payment, along with a letter outlining why you want to take the course and a summary of your foreign language experience, to Madeleine Henry, 300 Pearson. The registration deadline is Friday, Sept. 4. For more information, contact Henry, 4-4046.
