Charles Mulford

A retirement reception for Charles Mulford, professor of sociology, will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, in the Memorial Union Cardinal Room. A short program will begin at 4 p.m. Mulford has been a faculty member in the sociology department for almost 33 years.

Laurence Burkhalter

A "retirement" reception will be held for Laurence Burkhalter, a member of the Ames Quartet, following the group's 7:30 p.m. concert March 1 in the Music Building Recital Hall. Burkhalter retires from the quartet June 1. Burkhalter, who retired from the music department in 1986, is a charter member of the Ames Quartet.
