Veryl Fritz

A retirement reception for Veryl Fritz, associate professor of journalism and mass communication, will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. today (Friday, Dec. 12), in the Memorial Union Cardinal Room.

Toni Johnson

A farewell reception for Toni Johnson, administrative specialist in the Provost Office, will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, in 210 Beardshear. A short program will begin at 8:45 a.m.

Thomas Walsh

A reception in recognition of Thomas Walsh's service as head of the department of hotel, restaurant and institution management will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15, in the Memorial Union Campanile Room. Walsh will be stepping down as department head on Dec. 31, but will continue as a member of the teaching faculty during fall '98 semester.

Lois Jacobson

A retirement reception for Lois Jacobson, office coordinator in political science, will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, in 511 Ross.

Charles Meyer

A retirement reception for Charles Meyer, professor of economics, will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, in the Memorial Union Cardinal Room.

Wallace Sanders

A retirement reception for Wallace Sanders, professor of civil and construction engineering, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, in the Memorial Union Campanile Room. Sanders has been with the department for 34 years.

Richard Miller

A retirement reception for Richard Miller, distinguished professor of mathematics, will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, in the Memorial Union Cardinal Room. A short program will begin at 4 p.m. Miller has been on the faculty since 1971.

Lil Blau

A retirement reception for Lil Blau, a clerk in the accounting office, will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, in 218 Beardshear. Blau has been with the university since 1976.
