Guest conductor
Robert Molison, professor of music, was selected to direct the Iowa Intercollegiate Honor Choir this year. The choir, with membership from universities and colleges across the state, performed in Stephens Auditorium in late November.
Best paper
Joshua Otaigbe, assistant professor of materials science and engineering, won the Best Paper Award in the thermoplastic materials and foams division for a paper he presented to the International Society of Plastics Engineers last spring. His graduate assistant, Jon McAvoy, co-wrote the paper.
