Library dean search on
A search committee charged with hiring a new dean of library services met for the first time last week to begin its work. Mark Engelbrecht, dean of the College of Design, is chair of the 16-member committee. The committee will begin to review applications after Dec. 1, with the intent to fill the position by the end of this academic year.

Former library dean Nancy Eaton left Iowa State in August to become dean of library services at Pennsylvania State University.
