Commencement Aug. 2

About 800 students will receive ISU degrees during an all-inclusive summer commencement ceremony, which begins at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, in Hilton Coliseum.

An estimated 450 students will receive bachelor's degrees, about 260 will receive master's degrees and 100 are expected to receive Ph.D. honors that day.

Bill Woodman, sociology professor and Faculty Senate president, will give the commencement address.

Tickets are not required to attend commencement. Because fewer students graduate at the end of summer session, there are no college events preceding the ceremony.
