Eaton accepts Penn State post
Nancy Eaton, dean of library services since 1989, is leaving Iowa State to become dean of the university libraries at Pennsylvania State University, University Park. Her appointment takes effect Sept. 1."Nancy Eaton is a national leader in information technology and, under her leadership, the Iowa State University library system has made remarkable progress," said President Martin Jischke. "Her accomplish-ments have contributed significantly to Iowa State's reputation as a research university, and have provided long-lasting benefits for faculty, staff and students and other users of the Iowa State library."
