ISU fourth 'most wired' state university
Iowa State is rated 19th nationally and fourth among public state universities in "America's Most Wired Colleges" rankings in the May issue of Yahoo! Internet Life. The survey focused on the universities' use of the Internet for academics, social activities and student services and on the hardwire and wiring on the campuses.
Yahoo! Internet Life is published by Yahoo, the popular Internet search firm. The "most wired" rankings are available on line at this URL: http://www.zdnet.com/yil/content/college/intro.html.
