ISU 4-year athletic graduation rate leads Big 12

Iowa State's four-year student-athlete graduation rate leads the Big 12 Conference, according to National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) figures. Sixty-one percent of ISU's student-athletes over the past four years graduated within six years of entering ISU. The figures only include student-athletes who received athletic scholarships and entered ISU as freshmen from the 1985-86 school year through 1988-89.

Baylor is second in the conference with a four-year average of 57 percent and Nebraska and Missouri are tied for third at 55 percent.

The four-year Big 12 graduation percentages do not include 1996 graduation rate reports, which will be released by the NCAA in mid-summer.
