Project BIO: Sharing biology education resources via the Internet

An electronic seminar series featuring lectures on advances in biology education (with emphasis on use of technology) and advances in biology research will be offered on the World Wide Web. The lectures are aimed at college and high school biology instructors.

The first seminar in the series is now online at the Project BIO web site at: http://biotech.zool.iastate.edu/Project_BIO/Homepage.html.

The seminar is authored by Tom Ingebritsen, associate professor of zoology and genetics.

Each seminar is a multimedia presentation consisting of slides in the PDF or HTML format and a complete audio description distributed using REAL Audio technology. Eight to 10 additional electronic seminars will be available this semester.
