Sign of summer
The residence department is taking advantage of lower summer occupancies to complete "life cycle" work -- repaint, replace carpeting and living room furniture, repair equipment and tile floors -- to four student apartment buildings, now 10 years old, on the north side of Frederiksen Court. This is the final summer in a seven-year process to refurbish Frederiksen Court apartments. To expedite the work, the building's furnishings are stored in more than 30 rented semitrailers.
