Memorial Day ceremony moves to Alumni Center

The university's annual Memorial Day ceremony, to remember faculty, staff or their spouses who died during the past year, will be held Monday, May 31 (9 a.m., Reiman Ballroom, Alumni Center). Rev. Deanna Pullen, First United Methodist Church, will preside; the Collegiate Brass from Collegiate United Methodist Church will provide music.

Family and friends will have time during the ceremony to speak briefly about their loved ones. Written tributes submitted by those unable to attend will be read aloud. Flowers will be available for family and friends to place on the graves in the ISU cemetery after the ceremony.

Those attending are asked to park in lots A2-3 on the east side of the Alumni Center.

The ceremony is planned by a subcommittee of the ISU Retirees Association. For more information, contact Julie Larson, 4-8490.
