Aug. 20, 2009 Off to a good start
Members of the university community will open the 2009-10 academic year in a variety of ways over the next few weeks. The following list includes college events. Agriculture and Life Sciences: Wednesday, Sept. 16, 4:15 p.m., Curtiss Hall auditorium, reception follows Business: Friday, Aug. 21, 5 p.m., picnic for faculty, staff, retirees and their families, Moore Memorial Park, north Ames (6 p.m. meal served) Design: Aug. 24 building dedication (5:15 p.m.) and alumni exhibition events (7 p.m.) replace a college convocation this fall Engineering: Wednesday, Aug. 26, 3:10-5 p.m., Howe Hall auditorium Human Sciences: Thursday, Aug. 20, 7:30-11 a.m., Reiman Ballroom, ISU Alumni Center Liberal Arts and Sciences: Wednesday, Sept. 2, 4 p.m., Sun Room, Memorial Union Library: No event planned Veterinary Medicine: Wednesday, Aug. 26, 7:30 a.m., "fish tank" lobby, Vet Met |
