A multimedia theater that seats 70 guests is the heart of the new 2,500-square-foot Soults Family Visitor Center on the ground level of the Memorial Union south addition. It's the place where prospective students and their families will begin their introduction to Iowa State, and "we think it will provide the very best first impression possible," said Marc Harding, director of enrollment services. His office welcomes 24,000 visitors each year. Enrollment Services and the MU have agreed that after 5 p.m., the theater space will be available to ISU student organizations, typically for films or lectures.
