Expecting a houseful of relatives later this month? Looking for ways to break up winter vacation? Enjoy basketball but can't seem to find the time to get to Hilton Coliseum when classes are in session?

The athletics department has a solution to all these dilemmas: Four-pack tickets to all Cyclone men's and women's home basketball games between fall commencement (Dec. 20) and the start of spring semester (Jan. 12). That's five men's games and six women's games.

Here's the deal: You must buy a minimum of four tickets (maximum of 10), but the prices are reduced and admission includes designated concession items at each game. Also, you must plan ahead a little; these offers aren't good the day of the game. The seats are in the balcony -- on the sides, not ends, of the court.

"We're trying to give some added value to these tickets," said Matt Johnson, director of ticket operations for the athletics department. "We hope people will take advantage of these special offers."

When can I go?

The men's basketball tickets options are:

  • Saturday games (Dec. 20 vs. Jacksonville State, Jan. 3 vs. Southern Illinois, Edwardsville): $11.50 per ticket includes a hot dog and beverage each game
  • Weeknight games (Dec. 23 vs. South Dakota State, Dec. 31 vs. Mercer University, Jan. 6 vs. Houston Baptist): $9 per ticket includes a concession item (hot dog, Clone cone and nachos, respectively)

The women's basketball ticket options are:

  • Weekend games (Dec. 21 vs. Minnesota, Jan. 3 vs. Vanderbilt, Jan. 10 vs. Oklahoma State): $10 per ticket includes hot dog, beverage and pretzel each game
  • Weeknight games (Dec. 29 vs. Niagara University, Dec. 30 vs. University of North Dakota or Lamar University, Jan. 7 vs. Indiana University-Purdue University, Fort Wayne): $7 per ticket includes a concession item (nachos, Clone cone and hot dog, respectively)

Making your purchase

Men's four-pack tickets must be purchased online at www.cyclones.com (click on "Basketball 4-Pack" icon). Women's four-pack tickets may be purchased online, by phone (4-1816) or at the Jacobson ticket office.

Summary

Buy a minimum of four tickets (maximum of 10). The prices are reduced and admission includes designated concession items at each game. But, you must plan ahead a little; these offers aren't good the day of the game.
