Pammel reopens soonIf the weather cooperates for construction crews, Pammel Drive will be reopened for two-lane traffic by Aug. 21. By Aug. 24, Pammel is expected to be back to normal, with all four lanes open for business. Pammel has been closed in the vicinity of the Armory for much of the summer while construction crews built a new underground utility corridor (steam, chilled water, domestic water, natural gas). The work improves the campus infrastructure for future growth on the northwest side of campus. That growth already is under way. Construction began this summer on the Hach Hall chemistry facility, which will go up north of Davidson Hall. WOI Road opens Aug. 21WOI Road, which intersects the west end of Pammel, is scheduled to reopen Aug. 21. Part of Osborn Drive to close this fallThe same underground utility work that closed Pammel will close a portion of Osborn Drive this fall. The west section of the road (between the Armory and Davidson Hall) is scheduled be be closed from Oct. 1 to Dec. 1. Osborn will remain open east of the Davidson Hall area. Parking Lots 22, 23, 24, 25The construction works also affects several parking lots in the area.
