President Gregory Geoffroy invites faculty and staff to the campus launch of "Campaign Iowa State," the largest fund-raising effort in Iowa State history. The event will be held Friday, Oct. 19, in the Memorial Union's newly renovated Durham Great Hall. The buffet opens at 7:30 a.m. and a program on the campaign goal, theme and details follows, from approximately 8:10 to 9 a.m. Those who plan to attend the event are asked to register online. "The campaign is extremely important for Iowa State," Geoffroy wrote in an invitation to faculty and staff. "The funds raised will have a long-lasting impact on the university -- on our faculty, staff and students, and on our programs and facilities -- and I want you to be the first to know the exciting details. I hope you will join us for this 'sneak-peek' event, exclusively for our campus family." |
