AnswerThe photograph was taken from a suspended walkway in the addition that links Kildee Hall to Meats Lab. This foyer currently is home to two pieces from the Iowa State's Art on Campus collection: a heroic-sized stone and glass mural, "Balance of Life," by artist Edward Smyth; and, temporarily, a 2006 bronze casting of Norma "Duffy" Lyon's "Jersey Jewel," destined for the Dairy/Animal Science Education and Discovery Facility when it opens this fall south of Ames. |
