SummaryDairy Science Club members (from left) Morgan Welper, Lorilee Schultz and Kate Gilbert gave administrators an early taste of an exclusive ice cream the group created to commemorate ISU's sesquicentennial. "Cyclone Celebration" is creamy cake batter-flavored ice cream mixed with cardinal and gold sprinkles. The club will sell hand-dipped servings for $2 in a tent just southeast of Beardshear Hall during Veishea on Saturday, April 21 - a perfect complement to free birthday cake that will be available to visitors inside Beardshear. Although they plan to offer the flavor only on April 21, club members are considering plans to make the ice cream available to groups for other sesquicentennial events during the year-long celebration.
