Brunnier Museum's masquerade ball is Feb. 24

The Brunnier Art Museum's second annual Brunnier Bash: A Masquerade Ball, will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Brunnier in the Scheman Building. It is open to the public.

The event is a formal dress masquerade ball, so guests are encouraged to bring a mask (or create an original mask at the door). Judging of original mask designs will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The creator of the best mask receives two tickets to the opening soirée at the Christian Petersen Art Museum (March 22) in Morrill Hall, and two CPAM hats and T-shirts.

Live music by Deacon Demery and the Congregation begins at 7:30 p.m. Nonalcoholic drinks and a cash bar will be available.

Advance tickets ($5 for a single person and $8 for a couple) may be purchased until 4 p.m. Feb. 23 at the University Museums office or the Brunnier Art Museum, both on the second floor of Scheman, or at the Farm House Museum on central campus. Tickets purchased at the door Feb. 24 are $8 per person.

Proceeds will help fund future exhibitions and educational programming at the Brunnier.
