Ceremony in Memorial Union

Remembering

Family members of two former Iowa State students killed in action in Iraq pause during the playing of Taps at a Nov. 10 memorial service in the Memorial Union. Eric Woods, who attended ISU from 1997 to 1999, died July 9, 2005, in Tal Afar, Iraq. David Giaimo, a 2003 ISU finance graduate, died Aug. 12, 2005, in Tikrit, Iraq. A temporary wood plaque in Gold Star Hall will honor ISU's fallen soldiers until the Iraqi conflict is over and all possible candidates are considered.
