Hill announces promotions, new staff in student affairs

Vice president for student affairs Tom Hill announced earlier this week the following staff changes in his office, effective immediately:

Registrar Kathy Jones, who has served as interim assistant vice president for enrollment, has been named assistant vice president for enrollment.
Roberta Johnson, who has served as interim director of financial aid, has been named the new director of financial aid. Johnson will report to Jones.
Mimi Benjamin is the new assistant to Hill. She previously served as coordinator of residence life-academic services in the department of residence.
Doug Gruenewald, who had served as assistant director of residence life, has assumed a full-time role as co-director of learning communities. He will report to associate vice president for student affairs Todd Holcomb.
Gail Ferlazzo is the associate director of the Memorial Union. She previously served as director of the Campus Center/campus activities at Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, Penn. Ferlazzo has experience in both student development and facilities operations.
