August 27, 2004 First draft of strategic plan coming Aug. 30A first draft of Iowa State's next strategic plan will be released Monday, Aug. 30, for review by the university community and public. The draft includes a university mission, core values, long-term aspiration and five-year priorities and goals. Still to come in the next draft of the proposal are strategies and action plans to achieve goals and measures that will be used to assess the success of those efforts. VP for academic affairs, provost, and chair of the Strategic Planning Committee Benjamin Allen encourages you to comment on the first draft by Sept. 17. The draft will be posted on the strategic planning Web site at http://www.iastate.edu/~newplan. |
