by Linda Charles
A new internship program will help senior faculty and staff gain an understanding of higher education administration and diversify academic leadership on campus. The program will provide three to five half-time semester internships each year in a variety of administrative offices.

The program is open to full-time tenured associate or full professors and P&S staff who have been with the university at least five years.

Internships for next year are available in the colleges of Agriculture and Liberal Arts and Sciences; and in the offices of the vice provost for research and advanced studies, vice president for academic affairs and provost, and vice provost for extension.

Applications are due April 19. More information about the positions and application process are available online at http://www.provost.iastate.edu/positions or from Julie Tarbox, 4-6410, jtarbox@iastate.edu.
