Interim posts in student affairs
Terry Mason, assistant vice president for student affairs and director of the student counseling center, has been named interim associate vice president of student affairs, effective June 1. (Teresa Branch will become vice president for student affairs at the University of Montana in June.) Mason also became interim director of the Memorial Union following the recent retirement of executive director MaryJo Mertens. Registrar Kathy Jones was named interim assistant vice president for student affairs, effective April 1.

Searches are under way to fill the Memorial Union director and associate vice president positions.

Updated campus maps ready for use
The printed campus map has been updated for 2003-04. The 11x17 inch black-and-white map shows campus from the Veterinary Medical Research Institute on the south to the library storage facility on the north, and from Westgate Hall on the west to the visitor information booth on the east. Pads of 50 map sheets may be purchased for $3 each at Printing Services' main plant and document centers, and in the University Book Store. Memorial Day service planned
ISU's annual Memorial Day ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. Monday, May 26, in the Molecular Biology Building auditorium. It will honor all ISU employees, retirees and spouses who have died since Memorial Day 2002. The address will be given by former faculty members George and Agatha Burnet. Extended weekend hours at Reiman Gardens
Extended hours at the Reiman Gardens went into effect May 15. The gardens, gift shop and cafe are open until 7 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. All facilities open at 11 a.m. Sunday.
