Earl Hammond
A retirement reception for Earl Hammond, professor of food science and human nutrition, will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, in the Memorial Union Campanile Room. A short program will begin at 4:30 p.m. Hammond has been with the university since 1953.

Bruce Smith
A retirement reception for Bruce Smith, professor of art and design, will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, in the College of Design atrium, outside 158 Design. Smith has been with Iowa State since 1974.
