Rosalie Enfield
Rosalie Enfield, 48, graduate secretary in the mechanical engineering department, died June 13 of cancer at Israel Family Hospice House, Ames. She retired from Iowa State March 29. Memorial funds have been established for the Collins United Methodist Church in Collins, Iowa, or the Israel Family Hospice House.

Joyce "Jake" Hvistendahl
Joyce "Jake" Hvistendahl, 83, former journalism faculty member and president of the ISU Press, died June 15 in a Minneapolis hospital. Most recently, he had lived in Northfield, Minn. He retired from Iowa State in 1989.

Solon "Bud" Ewing
Solon "Bud" Ewing, 71, former chair of the animal science department, died June 19 in Ames of septicemia. He retired from Iowa State in 1997. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ewing Animal Science Scholarship, ISU Foundation, 2505 Elwood Dr., Ames.
