College of Business faculty and staff members signed a topping-out beam June 12. The beam will become part of the new Gerdin Business Building this month but will not be visible when the project is completed. Ann and Russ Gerdin, the Coralville couple who launched the building effort with a $10 million gift, also signed the beam, along with members of the college dean's advisory council.
