Iowa State's national champions

Their Cyclone team finished national runner-up to Minnesota, and three Cyclones were crowned individual national wrestling champions at the NCAA tournament March 23 in Albany, N.Y. Acknowledging several hundred fans who welcomed them back to Ames the next day were junior Aaron Holker; 141 lbs. (above left), senior co-captain Joe Heskett; 165 lbs.
