The first step
Site work is under way in the north corner of campus for the Plant Sciences
Institute's new Carver Co-Laboratory. Last week, crews removed a section of
parking lot asphalt north of the Communications Building. About 130 parking
spots were lost (student and general staff); officials expect to reclaim 10
to 20 of those when construction is complete. Parking officials undersold
the lot by 100 permits last summer in anticipation of this project. Photo
