INSIDE IOWA STATE September 14, 2001 DeathLloyd AvantLloyd Avant, 70, Ames, died Aug. 26 of complications of heart surgery. Avant, a professor of psychology, was on the faculty from 1968 to 1998. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lloyd Avant Memorial Fund in care of the Iowa State Community Credit Union in Ames. |
