Death
George Knaphus
George Knaphus, professor of botany and of curriculum and
instruction, died May 20 of cancer in Ames. He had been a
member of the ISU faculty since 1964. A memorial service was
held May 24 in McCallsburg, with burial in the Warren
Township Cemetery, McCallsburg. Memorials may be given to the
Norman Borlaug Restoration Farm project.
