Retirements
Bob Bataille
A retirement reception for Bob Bataille, professor of
English, will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 11,
in the Memorial Union Cardinal Room. A short program will
begin around 4 p.m. Bataille has been on the ISU faculty for
30 years.
Ron Santi
A retirement reception for Ron Santi, director of
business affairs, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, April
21, in the Memorial Union Sun Room. A program will begin at
2:45 p.m. Santi has been with the university more than 35
years. A "Letters of Remembrance" book is being compiled.
Send submissions (on 8 1/2 x 11 inch paper, unfolded) by
April 14 to Norma Ness, 3616 ASB.
Janet Tryon
A retirement reception for Janet Tryon, secretary in
the English department, will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday,
April 21, in 302 Catt. A short program will begin around 3:30
p.m. Tryon has been with the English department for 18 years
and the university for 24 years.

Priscilla Sage
Gretchen Weber
A retirement reception for four faculty members in art
and design will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, April 27,
in the Design atrium. The faculty members are associate
professors Bob Lorr, Nancy Polster, Priscilla Sage and
Gretchen Weber.
Carl Vondra
A retirement reception for Carl Vondra, distinguished
professor of geology, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday,
April 27, at the Brunnier Gallery, Scheman Building. A short
program will begin at 2:30 p.m. Vondra has been on the ISU
faculty for more than 37 years.
