Lab school celebrates 75 years on Sunday

A community open house celebrating the 75th
anniversary of the Child Development Laboratory School will be held from 1
to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, in the Child Development Building on Richardson
Court. A celebration program will begin at
1:45 p.m. The lab is a part of the College of Family and Consumer
Sciences.
The open house will feature a photo exhibit chronicling the 75 years of the lab school. Children's books, memorabilia and equipment used at the school during its history also will be on display. A scavenger hunt and other hands-on activities for children are planned, and Cy, the ISU mascot, will be at the celebration to entertain young guests. Cake and punch will be served.
Visitors are urged to park at the ISU Center. For more information, call Joan Herwig, 4-6230.
