Ag dean search committee sets timeline

The committee coordinating the search for a new dean for the College of Agriculture will begin reviewing applications May 15. Applications will continue to be accepted until the position is filled. Finalists will be invited to campus at the beginning of fall semester.

Veterinary pathology professor Harley Moon, who heads the 19- member search committee, said he encourages nominations from faculty, staff and others with an interest in the impact of the college's teaching, research and outreach activities.

Ag dean David Topel announced he will step down as dean later this year, but remain on the faculty in the animal science department.
