Myers named to affirmative action post

Evie Myers has been named associate director of affirmative action, a position she has been filling on an interim basis since July 1997. Myers assists affirmative action director Carla Espinoza in overseeing the office, focuses on complaints and monitors the affirmative action efforts of the campus.

Previously, Myers, who is a lawyer, had her own consulting firm and specialized in advising senior managers and attorneys on employment matters, including diversity issues, discrimination and affirmative action.
