Barb Houk

A retirement reception for Barb Houk, assistant to the athletic director, will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday, June 18, in the atrium of the Jacobson Athletic Building. A program will begin at 4:30 p.m. Houk has worked in the athletic department for 29 years.

William Reece

A retirement reception for William Reece, professor of veterinary physiology and pharmacology, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 25, in the Frank K. Ramsey Alumni Room (2542), College of Veterinary Medicine. Reece was appointed to the faculty in 1966 and named University Professor in 1996.

George Beran

A retirement reception for George Beran, distinguished professor of veterinary medicine, will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 25, at the Reiman Gardens. Beran, who joined the faculty in 1973, also serves as director for the World Health Organization Collaborating Center in risk assessment and hazard intervention in foods of animal origin.

Zola Obe

A retirement reception for Zola Obe, systems analyst and former data entry manager in the ADP Center, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, June 26, in the Memorial Union Pioneer Room. A short program will begin at 2:45 p.m. Obe has been with the university and ADP Center for 46 years.
