Women's Center interim director named

Lisa Enloe has been named interim director of the Margaret Sloss Women's Center.

Celia Naylor-Ojurongbe, director of the Women's Center since July 1993, recently moved to Albuquerque, N.M., where she will complete work on her doctoral dissertation in history.

Enloe has worked for the Center for Creative Justice, Ames, since 1994, serving as a corrections coordinator and mediation coordinator. She also is a sociology instructor at Grandview College, Des Moines.

She worked for many years as a family counselor at the Center for Personal Development in Ames.

Enloe received a B.A. in sociology from Illinois State University, Normal, and M.A. in sociology from Iowa State.

As interim director, Enloe will provide advocacy, referral services and programming for the ISU community.

A search for a permanent director of the Women's Center will be announced later.
