AA finalist withdraws

One of the four finalists in the search for an associate
director of affirmative action has withdrawn from
consideration.
Laurel Allen, affirmative action specialist with the University of California, Berkeley, asked the search committee Jan. 10 to withdraw her name.
The remaining finalists are Charles Azebeokhai, executive director/EEO officer for the Dubuque Department of Human Rights; Phillip R. Pearson, compliance officer with the Los Angeles Community College District; and Willie E. Robinson, equal opportunity administrator for the city of Des Moines.
The finalists will visit campus this month to interview and participate in open forums. Azebeokhai's forum was Jan. 22. The remaining forums will be at 2 p.m. in the Memorial Union:
- Pearson, Monday, Jan. 27, Pioneer Room
- Robinson, Tuesday, Jan. 28, Oak Room
