ISU Web Site Ranked Among Top 5 Percent

Iowa State's World Wide Web site has been rated among the top 
5 percent of sites on the Internet by Point Survey. The 
survey is a service of Point Communications, a New York firm 
that rates Web sites based on such criteria as content and 
layout.

Point reviewers cite ISU Web pages for ample coverage of 
academics, research, admissions, administration and Cyclone 
sports; a Web-tailored edition of The Iowa State Daily; and a 
smart interface offering ready access to information.

Another ISU site has received individual "top site" 
recognition in Point's "government" category. The Iowa 
PROfiles (Public Resources Online) site provides county and 
state economic and demographic data.
