CASTING DIRECTOR DISCUSSES THE CALL OF HOLLYWOOD

Al Onorato, a past vice president for talent and casting at 
Columbia Pictures Television, will lead a workshop and 
lecture at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, in the Maintenance 
Shop, Memorial Union. His presentation is titled "So You Want 
to be an Actor?"

Onorato currently is a personal manager for actors, directors 
and screen writers. His list of "discoveries" includes Elijah 
Wood (Radio Flyer), Gregory Harrison (Trapper John, M.D.) and 
Cheryl Ladd (Charlie's Angels).

As an independent casting director, his projects have 
included Fame, Trauma Center, The Other Victim, Mafia 
Princess, Capitol and Yes Virginia, There Is a Santa Claus.
