BAND EXTRAVAGANZA NOV. 4

More than 400 of Iowa State's musicians will come together 
for this year's ISU Band Extravaganza. The show will begin at 
7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, in Stephens Auditorium.

The performance will feature the Wind Ensemble under the 
direction of Joseph Christensen, director of bands. The group 
will perform Lauds by Ron Nelson and Melody Shop by Karl 
King.

The Jazz Ensemble, led by James Bovinette, will perform Sugar 
by Stanley Turrentine and Milestones by Miles Davis. The 
Cyclone Marching Band, led by John LaCognata, will perform 
selections from this year's football half-time shows, 
including Malaguena, Born to Boogie, You Really Got Me and 
the Beatles Medley. 

The ISU Drumline also will perform.

Tickets are $6 and available at the Iowa State Center box 
office and TicketMaster locations.
