And A Ringing Salute to Declaration Signers


Iowa State will join the 1995 Let Freedom Ring national 
ceremony by ringing the bells of the Stanton Memorial 
Carillon 13 times at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 4. The simultaneous 
bell ringing by churches, national monuments, state capitols 
and carillons across the nation is in honor of the 
Declaration of Independence signers. A carillon concert on 
central campus will follow the ceremony.
