LUNCH WITH JISCHKE
The next Brown Bag Lunch with President Martin Jischke will 
be at noon Thursday, June 22, in the Memorial Union Gold 
Room. Participants may purchase lunch in the Commons or brown 
bag it. For reservations, call 4-2042.


TALK OF IOWA
President Martin Jischke will be a guest on the Wednesday, 
July 5, Talk of Iowa radio show. Talk of Iowa, which airs 
weekdays on WOI-AM, begins at 10 a.m.
WOI-AM is at 640 on the radio dial.


CENTER TICKET DISCOUNT
ISU employees are reminded that ticket discounts for events 
in the 1995-96 season at Stephens Auditorium are in effect 
until July 31. Patrons who order tickets for at least two 
events receive a 10 percent discount on their orders. 
Installment payment and ISU payroll deduction plans are 
available. Brochures detailing performances, ticket prices 
and seating in the Stephens schedule are available by calling 
4-3347.


TUNE TIME
Members of the campus, Ames and surrounding communities are 
invited to join the ISU Summer Chorus. No audition is 
required. The chorus rehearses from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays and 
Thursdays during June and July and will present its final 
concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 23, in the Recital Hall, Music 
Building. Those interested in joining the chorus should call 
4-0395.


MERIT TUITION GRANTS
Merit tuition grant applications for fall semester 1995 are 
due by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, in the Personnel Office, 
16 Beardshear. Applications and guidelines for eligible merit 
employees (E and H base) are available in the Personnel 
Office or by calling Kathy Strohl, 4-6457.
To receive reimbursement for summer session 1995 classes, 
merit employees must have two photocopies of grade slips (and 
proof of payment for off-campus classes) to the Personnel 
Office by 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1.


P&S TUITION GRANTS
P&S tuition grant applications for fall semester 1995 are due 
by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, in the ProvostŐs Office, 
107 Beardshear. Applications and guidelines for eligible (P 
base) employees are available in the ProvostŐs Office or by 
calling Peggy Biskner, 4-5882.
To receive reimbursement for summer session 1995 classes, P&S 
employees must have two photocopies of grade slips (and proof 
of payment for off-campus classes) to the ProvostŐs Office by 
5 p.m. Friday,  Sept. 1.


PALS NEEDED
Adults are needed to volunteer for the Ames-ISU YMCA Big 
Pal/Little Pal program. Big pals must be willing to commit 
for a year and spend two hours a week with their little pals. 
Little pals are Story County children between the ages of 5 
and 14 from single parent homes. For more information, 
contact the YMCA, 4-2263.


CY LABEL
The Alumni Association is offering ISU return address labels 
featuring the new athletic logo. The labels are available in 
quantities of 90, 180 and 450. The Association also offers 
unusual ISU merchandise appropriate for retirement and other 
occasions. The items include Amana custom-woven blankets, 
lithograph campanile prints and rockers. For more information 
on either labels or merchandise, contact the Alumni
