Spring Convocation May 2


Faculty and staff will be honored for outstanding service to 
Iowa State during the universityÕs spring convocation 
Tuesday, May 2, in the Memorial Union Sun Room. The 
convocation will begin at 3:15 p.m.

President Martin Jischke will present introductory remarks 
and Provost John Kozak will present the awards. Six new 
Distinguished Professors and six new University Professors 
will be honored. Other award recipients among faculty, 
professional and scientific and supervisory/confidential 
staff also will be announced.

All members of the university community are invited to the 
convocation. Refreshments will be served following the 
presentation of awards.

Award recipients also will be recognized in the May 5 issue 
of Inside Iowa State.
