Survey To Be Redone To gauge the campus climate for both under-represented and majority groups, the Diversity Steering Committee is redoing its survey of two groups: international faculty, staff and students and lesbian, gay or bisexual faculty, staff and students. A low response rate and lack of representative samples from the two groups in an earlier survey prompted the new survey. The earlier survey was conducted in November 1993, when more than 3,700 surveys were mailed as part of a broad information-gathering process. A sampling of the international population at ISU will receive a survey similar to the first in the mail this month. Members of the lesbian, gay or bisexual community willing to participate in the re-survey are asked to pick up a copy at: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Student Services, 210 Student Services Building (or contact Amy Selha, 4-1020); Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Alliance, 39 Memorial Union, 4-2104; Women's Center, Sloss House; or in 104 Lab of Mechanics. For more information, contact Marlene Fisher, a graduate research assistant working on the project, 4-4505. _____ contact: News Service, (515) 294-3129 updated: 03-24-95
